In 2016, I was invited to participate in Art en Vivo, which was part of a weekly live screen printing event hosted by Proper Printshop in El Paso, Texas. On Thursday nights each week, the print shop would invite a different artist to hand print an edition of fifty posters. Attendees were encouraged to screen print a piece themselves while enjoying music, food and drinks. This print began as a black and white drawing, but after some encouragement from a friend, it was decided we should experiment with color and a split fountain application.
